BTTC PingIT! 

 BTTC PingIt is our summer intake programme that focuses on providing all of the fundaments of table tennis for children to enjoy the game of table tennis. The programme, which is funded by Barnsley Council and the Moving Mental Health Forward Network has fun at the heart of it! Each session provides something completely different, allowing children from our #OutstandingCommunity to form new friendships within the sport. 

Each week focuses on a specific part of table tennis, with fun activities, games and competitions taking place at each session. Players are split into three teams: blue team, yellow team and green team. With everyone competing for house points over the course of the programme, the team with the most points at the end of the programme wins a prize! Sadly, there is no PingIt this year, however we are planning for 2024. 

Players who take part in the programme receive their own Barnsley Table Tennis Club t-shirt, a table tennis bat, towel and kit bag. We are proud to say that the programme is completely free of charge and has been written by coaches at Barnsley Table Tennis Club. We are thankful to those who have worked really hard to make PingIt possible, and we remain thankful to Barnsley Council and the MMHF Network for the funding that they provided towards the programme!

Barnsley TTC has run two successive PintIT Intakes which have been hugely successful. We look forward to sharing more information about our next intake programme soon!
